The construction is divided into number of sub assemblies. Each sub assembly contains Step-by-step detailed 3D renderings, which will guide you to build this robot.
Most of the parts used are from the combination of two (new and old) Mindstorms robotic invention system, however you will need some extra parts in order to build this robot. Extra components can be purchased through the Lego store , Lego education store or number of other Lego online vendors.
This robot can be programmed (in NXT code) to move around, spot a target and then fire using itís imaginary laser canon (light sensor). Hands and arms can also be programmed (in RCX code).
Also included is a sample robot program in NXT code. The program is by no means the best way to program this robot. Feel free to improve it or write your own program.
